Flea Market Finds

My find of the week is this cute little kids chair. It only cost $1 from a garage sale.
It took over an hour to clean with a toothbrush.
It has come up nicely now.
And most importantly Khye loves it!

Other finds this week include this gorgeous green tablecloth to add to the collection of tablecloths.
Some more sheets and pillowcases to add to the collection of sheets and pillowcases.
Some more doilies to add to the collection of doilies.
A lovely peachy chenille bedspread I plan to use as a quilt backing.
And a basket to store it all in.
But I think the basket may have become Igglepiggle's boat!
Check out Sophie's for more great finds.

Great finds and that's true dedication when you spend an hour cleaning it with a toothbrush! Looks great. Love the collection of bedspreads, material and dollies - my collection is also growing. Our grandmothers would be so proud!

Some great finds for you: What a lovely chair! and a gorgeous green tablecloth... and the vintage sheets. I recently found a Sheridan purple floral sheet like yours: the print is divine... I will have to end up doing a post instead of just reading everyone else's amazing finds!

hehe my mum told me that she and her 2 bothers each had chairs like that when they were little tackers :)

And, if you ever want to do a vintage sheet swap with anyone I'd love to share my collection to get a wider range for a summer quilt I hope to make in the future. Just let me know.

Oh me oh my -- my Nanna had two of those chairs in Black and White on her balcony and there was always a tussle to see who would get to sit in them! Wow that tablecloth is vibrant - do you plan to make it into a skirt or something equally gorgeous?

HI Renee, I have really enjoyed reading your blog- especailly about all of your op shop finds! Very jealous of your crochet blanket collection. Felix loves your elephant that Anne-Maree got for him. Thanks for your comments too. Kate
